Every handbook in the Vault is a digital product, delivered instantly. Once you download a PDF, there is no way for us to "take it back" — you retain the file even if we issued a refund. Combined with buyer-info stamping on every page, this makes a standard refund policy unsuitable for our product category.
Our pricing already reflects the no-refund model. It lets us keep prices reasonable (the Complete Bundle is $89 vs the hundreds-of-dollars market rate for equivalent clinical resources). We trust our buyers to review the full product description before purchase, and we've made that description detailed and honest.
While we don't offer refunds, we do stand behind our products. In these specific situations, contact us and we will resolve:
If your PDF download is corrupted or fails to open, email us with your order ID within 14 days of purchase. We will send you a replacement file.
If you received a product different from what you paid for (e.g. Recipes instead of Clinical Guide), email us with your order ID within 14 days. We will send the correct file.
If your card was charged multiple times for the same product (Gumroad/Stripe processor error), email us with your order IDs. We will refund the duplicate charge.
If you find a material clinical error in one of our handbooks, please let us know. We take this seriously, will verify, and will issue a free updated copy to all buyers as part of our 12-month updates guarantee.
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer (a "chargeback") instead of contacting us first, we will cooperate fully with the chargeback investigation. Gumroad has buyer email + stamped PDF records that clearly evidence delivery. Illegitimate chargebacks may result in the loss of your Vault licence and access to future content and updates.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) or, for international buyers, your local consumer protection legislation. Specifically, if you are a consumer purchasing for personal (not professional) use and receive a faulty product, your legal rights are preserved.
For professional use (which is our primary audience of dietitians and allied health practitioners), normal commercial terms apply and refunds are not part of this agreement.
